Breethe… thread of harmony, is an out-of-the-ordinary fashion experience using natural and breathable woven fabrics bathed in natural dyes. Our collection of face masks are crafted from fabrics which symbolize purity, vitality, prosperity and are designed to bring elegance in simplicity and enhance appearance. We firmly believe that the choice of fabric and fashion is an expression of our identity, our values, which is why our collection is in harmony with nature and have utilitarian aesthetics. Today, as the millions of bright-coloured throw-away masks made from plastic, polypropylene or blended fabric litter land and sea, our collection of environment-friendly masks offer an opportunity to be distinctly different and be responsible to our people and our planet.

Relevance
Most of us would relate our brand name to a simple act of inhaling oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide. Post pandemic, as humanity navigates through tough times, a vast majority would assert that it is this basic function that singularly influences our health, our happiness and our future. From inhaling steam infused with herbs, performing Pranayam, practising Jaldharas and last, but not the least, wearing a face mask, humanity has been experimenting ways to breathe better.

Inspired by the treasures of mother nature, our face masks are spun from unique fabrics drawn from the raw fibers of rose petals, lotus stalk, bamboo trees, solidified milk strands and aloe vera fiber and colored with natural dyes.
The use of naturally beautiful fabric and non-toxic dyes will completely eliminate inhaling air through the ubiquitous synthetic fabrics which are dyed in strong chemicals.
We are guided by our vision to create a sustainable positive impact and blend ethical fashion with breathable fabrics using natural dyes.

Thread of Harmony
The naturally-derived breathable fabric and dyes of our mask prevents skin irritation that
causes damage to sensitive skin which could result blemishes, pimples or acne.
Our mask compliments your inner as well as your outer beauty and supports your overall
wellness and give you a zest for life.
The masks are reusable and should be washed using the traditional Reetha or the Indian
Soapnut which has medicinal properties and does not have any toxic or chemical properties.
Rose Petal Fabric
A unique creation from the fiber of the rose petals, the super soft and light fabric is sheer elegance and luxury. Rose petals are immersed in water for long period till they ferment and the fibers are pulled out of this slush of rose petals. The fibers are then spun in machines to create an ultra-soft lustrous fabric. The rose petal fabric makes for the inside of all our masks and the enriching scent helps to restore mind and spirit.

Lotus Fabric
It is the finest aquatic fiber which has to power to absorb moisture and dries fast as well. The lotus fiber, extracted from the lotus stem, are rolled together to form a long threads which are then immersed in water to moisture. Fibers extracted from the stem are spun into yarn. It is a crease-resistant, breathable and sustainable fabric.

It is a natural textile made from the pulp of the bamboo grass. It is anti-bacterial and ant-fungal and one of most hygienic fabric as bamboo possess an bacteriostatic bio-agent which allows it to grow and flourish naturally without use of chemicals and pesticides. One of the most softest fabric, it is naturally UV protectant and most eco-friendly fabric in the world.

Origin
Breethe was born out of the need to be creatively useful during the Covid-19 crisis.
It all began in Bengaluru, India in April 2020, as the world slipped into quarantine and locked itself up offering precious moments to contemplate and think creatively.
Cornered at home and faraway from family and friends, Geetika Yeshwantrao, a student of fashion design with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bengaluru, India was eager to try and make a meaningful difference.
Made to shell out an astronomical amount for a flimsy face mask and troubled by the thought of the common man who could ill-afford the luxury
of a mask, a decision was firmed up to stitch the face masks, the one product which was then scarce and was termed as a life-saver.
Our Products
Mass Making
The three-layers of face masks are made from natural fabrics drawn from the raw fibers of rose petals, lotus stalk, bamboo trees, solidified milk strands and aloe vera fiber.
Natural dyes have been used to colour the fabric to ensure zero harm to anyone with a sensitive skin, allergies or those dealing with pimples and acne issues.
The masks are designed to cover the nose and the chin and forms a perfect barrier against the virus-containing droplets in the air and at the same time will not suffocate the wearer.
The beautifully-crafted natural face masks are carefully placed in a hand-made stylish box, also includes a set of Reetha fruit, also known as Indian soapberry or washnut which is gifted with natural cleaning properties and will help clean the face masks minus any chemical or soaps.
